When deciding between millwork/ built-ins and freestanding desks consider this:
- Freestanding offers higher degree of design sophistication and attention to ergonomic details that go beyond a built-in units.
- Freestanding desks are written off in 7 years as opposed to 39.5 years for built-in millwork.
- Ergonomic wood edge details, waterfall and bullnose wood and pvc options soften worksurface edges where most contact occurs.
- Color and materials can be mixed with greater flexibility
- Relocating and reconfiguring workstations allows for compatibility for future growth and moves.
- New designer High Pressure Laminates are offered in designer styles including new 3D textured laminates great for vertical surface accents.
