Ambience Doré started in San Diego. Small and midsize clients were being overlooked by the established office furniture dealers who had their hands full with large orders. There was a demand for personal quality service that wasn’t being met. My enthusiasm for sales and my degree in economics and my Masters in Fine Arts provided me with with the know-how to get my business off to a good start.
In 2003 I relocated to Los Angeles. We maintained our policy of customer first advocacy and personalized service—but our clientele changed from start-up bio techs to high quality design-motivated clients that demanded a more sophisticated line of products with custom design options.
Suddenly the client list expanded to include the New York Metropolitan Opera at the Lincoln Center, Arrowhead Pond, LA Sparks, NIH, Louis Vuitton, The Mighty Ducks The Paley-Media Center, Raytheon, the US Army, Fotokem and the World Bank, to name a few.

Ambience Doré moved rapidly away from selling based on bottom line pricing to a focus on beautiful design, manufacturing integrity and top of the line customer service. We’ve been ahead of the curve in realizing the importance of design, impeccable service, fashion and enduring functionalism in the office workplace. The furniture is beautiful, it lasts, and it is ergonomically comfortable.
I’ve taken my passion for art and comfortable, functional interiors into the workplace. Our environments create spaces that resemble contemporary high-end residential office spaces. We avoid fabric cubicles that inhibit creativity.
Physical environment greatly impacts your productivity and sense of well-being. Choices made in the office demonstrate a company’s character. Projecting a favorable corporate image should extend into the workplace. It shouldn’t stop at the door or on paper.
With all of this in mind I’ve launched my second company, Galleria Mar Doré, as a natural extension of the original company. The new Gallery focuses on a wide variety of high-end innovative art possibilities for highly motivated corporate and home offices that are looking for the very best in the most current cutting-edge design.
